Heather is a painter and art teacher who is deeply inspired by the coast and countryside of her birth county, Hampshire, with her colourful, fresh paintings frequently visiting the saltmarshes and views of the Solent estuary area. Her artwork also extends to portraits, both human and animal, and the wonder of garden views, architecture and contemporary floral art. Heather has exhibited at the As a teacher of art, Heather runs her own weekly art sessions, day art workshops, sketching out sessions direct from the landscape, and other events.
